VEGAN ATHLETE COACHING SERVICES

PERSONAL COACHING

At Vegan Athlete Coaching we understand every athlete is different, so we offer 3 different training packages to suit your needs and budget. We work with elite level athletes through to the club level to help achieve any goal whether it be racing, gran fondos or just wanting to improve your athletic performance. 

Basic

$75 per month
(+$45 initial athlete profiling*)

*Cycling and triathlon only

  • Basic weekly training program 
  • Basic Training Peaks account.
  • Data analysis and feedback.
  • 2 x monthly review via phone Skype or meet up in person to:
    • Discuss plant based sports nutrition and how it affects your sport
    • Assess and reevaluate your training program
    • Discuss key events and best how to approach them.
    • Sports mental coaching 
  • Access to group training rides.

 

    Enhanced

    $120/month or $340/quarterly

    • 12-week custom, strength training, cardiovascular, flexibility and mental development program.
    • Basic Training Peaks account.
    • Minimal data analysis and feedback.
    • Power Profile Test
    • 2 x monthly review via phone Skype or meet up in person to:
      • Discuss plant based sports nutrition and how it affects your sport
      • Assess and reevaluate your training program
      • Discuss key events and best how to approach them.
      • Sports mental coaching 
    • Access to group training rides.

     

      Premium

      $199/month
       

      • A weekly customised basic nutrition, hydration, strength training, cardiovascular, flexibility and mental development program (to ensure peak performance at key races)
      • Premium Training Peaks Account
      • Frequent data analysis and feedback
      • Power Profile Test
      • Weekly contact to reassess and revaluate your training program through a coach call via phone, skype or meet up in person.
      • Access to group training rides.

      The three main disciplines that we offer coaching on are; 

      Cycling (Road & Track), Motocross, Triathlon (Short & Long Course), MTB (XC, Enduro & DH)  


      LACTATE, FTP & VO2 MAX TESTING

      Testing is crucial in sports, it helps us to determine if the hard work we are putting in is actually working. At Vegan Athlete Coaching we offer a range of services to to test our strength, speed and power in a range of sports.

      Lactate testing
      Lactate testing can help us determine more than just your threshold, but give an indication into what the exact intensity, frequency and duration of training that is required for you.  $175.00 (included in your initial consult)

      FTP testing
      This is a difficult but simple repeatable measurement to determine ones Functional Threshold Power (FTP). From this test we can determine if your training is working and your power and heart rate zones. $99.00 (Included in your program if you have a power meter)

      VO2 max testing
      Similar to an FTP test, best used for athletes who have never done an FTP test before which requires pacing. With this test we can determine your max Power and very closely estimate your FTP and what you should aim for in a 20min FTP test in the future. This test we can also establish your heart rate and power zones $99.00


      NUTRITION

      There is a common misconception that being a Vegan athlete you will not be able to get stronger, fitter or faster. This could not be further from the truth and here at Vegan Athlete Coaching we offer services to help whatever type of athlete you are to follow a Vegan diet and get the best out of yourself.

      We work with qualified dietitians from Healthy Lifestyles Australia whom also happen to be Vegan and love exercise.

      Packages we offer:

      Standard - $110 for 1hr consultation (Suitable for tweaks to current nutrition intake and ensuring good nutritional variety/density of intake for specific performance or health goals. May or may not include basic meal plan depending on client goals)

      Enhanced:- $150 for 1hr consultation with Individualised meal plan (Dietitian will also be happy to answer any follow up questions in an email within 1 week of the consult)

       Extras: -

      • $50  for email Support Packages available in 2 week lots and can be added as needed.
      • Review consultations either face-to-face, over the phone, or via Skype/Facetime are $60 per 30mins consultation.

      An initial consultation is needed before email support packages can be activated.
